It uses new materials as the base, metal wires for shaping, and natural minerals for coloring, integrating art crafts, carving, and inlay techniques. This craft was popular during the Jingtai period [Emperor Jingtai of the Ming Dynasty] and was named "Jingtai enamel" or "Jingtai enamel" in the late Qing Dynasty.
